Facebook Video Downloader — what makes this one different

Facebook has no download button for video, and the links it copies come in half a dozen shapes — /watch/?v=, /videos/, /share/v/, fb.watch short links and the mobile m.facebook.com variants. All of them work here; paste whatever your phone or browser copied.

What you get back is the file Facebook serves, at the resolution it was published in, with the audio intact and nothing added to the frame. Only public posts are supported — nothing here asks for your Facebook login, and nothing reaches a friends-only post.

  • Every link formatwatch, videos, share, fb.watch and m.facebook links all work.

Facebook Video Downloader FAQ

Do fb.watch short links work?

Yes. Short links, /watch/ links, /videos/ links, share links and m.facebook.com links are all accepted.

Can I download a video from a private group?

No. Only publicly visible videos can be downloaded, and no login is requested. If you cannot see the post while logged out, this tool cannot either.

Why is only SD offered on some videos?

Facebook does not publish an HD encode for every upload. The list shows what genuinely exists for that post.

Does the uploader find out?

Facebook sends no notification for a download. Save only content you own or have permission to use.
